Back in May, Olivier Jarda asked me to create his album artwork for Ghostfees EP. Obviously, I jumped at the chance.
We opted for an organic, hand-drawn look, and chose to focus on repetitive elements rather than cluttering the album with too many fussy flourishes. The only constraint on design was the use of only one colour. I picked a sunny yellow, and you can see a sample of the art below:
The third image shows the back cover of the packaging. Note how the yellow arrows follow through from the other images, and lead onto the back cover.
Incidentally, the EP is definitely worth a listen to, as is Olivier Jarda’s studio album. I’d highly recommend visiting his site.
