Hello! I’ve been posting on this blog since 2009 (Argh! Six years!) and although I do NOT plan to stop, I’d like to change things up a bit.
Until now, all my creative news has been posted here, whether it be Thefty news, or my personal freelance work. The time has come to separate the two streams. My personal illustration and photography work will now move over to www.HelenaMaratheftis.com, my shiny new portfolio website and blog. You can follow me there on Bloglovin’ if you like, and I hope you come and say hello!
All Thefty-related news will remain right here, so don’t run away!
That’s all from me now, but I’ll be back soon with come exciting news…stay tuned!
Hello! If you haven’t visited my portfolio in a while, you might want to take a look – I made quite a few changes today, including a new animated GIF on the homepage:
Here are a couple of screenshots:
I’ve been doing a lot of new year reorganising and redecorating, so I didn’t see why www.helenamaratheftis.com should miss out!
What have you been spending time on in 2013? Whatever it is, I hope the new year is coming along nicely for all of you. (Yes, I’m feeling particularly chirpy and friendly today.)
Hello! Over the past week, I’ve spent countless hours at my computer, designing and formatting (and occasionally swearing) in order to create something new and exciting. What is this thing, you ask? Well, it’s an online portfolio for my artwork! You can find it at www.helenamaratheftis.com
The new website includes examples of my paintings, drawings, photography and creative projects in an easily accessible format. I tried to keep it clean and easy to navigate, but there are a few quirky features in there. Please dig around and let me know what you think! I’d really love to hear your feedback.
This will continue to be my art blog, so fear not! I won’t be abandoning you!
If anything, I will now be free to be a little bit more varied with my offerings here. For example, rather than only posting about drawings, I might start showing you other sides of my (creative) life. e.g. The cakes that I make (with alarming frequency) and the photos that I take of inspiring little things. In any case, please stay tuned.
